No flash, just my bar lights, ambient light, and a small video light from behind to light the liquid a bit. Oh, this is also a blend of two exposures due to the shallow DOF at f2.8. One for the bottle label and one for the front rim of the glass. ![]() Excellent reminder of how good your sig and the 55/1.8 is. flickr

I didn't like it that much, didn't feel that safe walking around with all my camera gear. We stayed at a hotel on the corner of Post and Jones St. Didn't like the walk up there from Union Square. Wife and kids were a little uncomfortable. We walked from Union Square down to Samy's, should have got an Uber ![]() We were in New York just before that and felt fine the whole time. Saying that, parts of Leicester, in the UK where I am from and we visited were very rough now. 20 years since I've been there. I was really glad to to back in New Zealand ![]() Dlee13, hoping to hit Bombo early April for some astro. Got a mate down in Wollongong so will be staying there ![]()

Is there anyone here interested in the William Optics RedCat 51 Apochromatic refractor lens for astrophotography? At $658.00, it seems to be reasonably priced. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

Awesome place and amazing for photography. I love the south coast down there, beautiful. One thing we found when booking out trip was the cost of accomodation in San Fran. It was pretty much triple the price we paid in both Hong Kong and New York, which was why we ended up in the hotel we did. It fit our budget. The hotel was actually ok, but the walk up to it, that was not the best. First day there as we went for a walk, the concierge told us to only turn left out of the hotel, and do not turn right ! Damn looks nice! The only place I been even remotely close to there was Bald Hill Lookout if you've heard of it. gaabnz wrote in post #18817375 This is bombo quarry ![]() ![]() Amazing shot! Too boring? I thought it would be good for landscape - which it no doubt is. Wide enough to fairly telephoto without the need to be swapping lenses...... But, i always found the 24-105L boring, it never wowed me, it gave me some good shots, but I didn't enjoy using it..... Then there is the size and weight too.

I currently have been adapting my Canon 16-35mm F4L and have been happy with the performance and IC but if the Tamron is priced right it would be hard to pass on that f2.8

I hate bulky bags. Currently use an F stop Shibata and a think tank retrospective 5. Both bags will hold my a7riii, B25, B85 and a third lens. I was trying to work out if the 5L sling would allow slightly more than that but it looks like it wont. The 10L sling looks really big though. Ideally I would be carrying rx1rii, a7riii, B25, B85 and either cv15 or lox 21 in the absolute smallest package possible. I have a backpack that fits it all but looking for a sling style if possible for on my travels Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV
