Grrrrr.... Find a used 'good' A6000 for £250, enquire that it comes with battery, charger, leads etc - which it does plus boxed - and now the website is completely down......

Charlie, I’ve managed to get the Osmo 4K footage into LumaFusion. By saving it in OneDrive first it allowed me to import it. I’m pretty confident now that using the ravpower WiFi router will allow me to insert the microsd card and import it directly without having to first use my laptop. All I need to do now is work out how to use LumaFusion :-P

lol, I would suggest downloading the PDF manual, and most of your stuff that you use will be in the edit toolbox. keyframes, colors, time speed up/slow down. Another really important item is the copy and paste icon if you're doing any sort of color correction. Compared to Final Cut or Premiere, luma is pretty easy to learn. I started off with simply editing iphone clips at first, and eventually I would edit a7 footage and photos..... I'll toss in the occasional photo along with a zoom in effect (keyframed zoom).

much of it I learned simply by making a bunch of facebook stories, all that repetition, trial and error. biggest downside is not being able to download youtube audio directly in my iphone/ipad, and I use my macbook + jdownloader to get the audio I want. Be sure it's non copyright stuff or the video can be blocked on social media. There's a big learning curve with video, however it gets much better with time. Just takes a bit of practice, sort of work your way on up with 30 second clips, then 1 minute, then 2 minute. It can be tough making a 3+ minute video that's bearable to watch, you sorta have to just test it out, feedback is important (I can monitor watch-ability with FB stories). Sometimes movie projects simply take a long time to finish, and generally it can be worth the trouble when all is said and done.

Have my Ricoh GRIII coming in tomorrow! Have my GRII that I bought last week as well. Will compare the two of them before I decide what to do, lol. Maybe I’ll just my 6 yr old use the II to take snapshots.

It’s really annoying. Spent 4 days in Prague at the weekend shooting 4K/24 and then realised I can’t get the files into Luma! Although I watched a YouTube video today (was in German so no idea what was being said) where it looked like the guy copied the files to a WD passport wireless drive first then imported to Lumafusion and it worked so that makes me think the ravpower WiFi router I was linking previously might work. It’s out of stock on amazon though. I have copied all the files to onedrive today though so when I get home I’ll see if they can be imported from there. Bit annoying though as I would still need to do that extra step that way. I’m hoping the ravpower works as it will allow me to do it whilst travelling.

On another note I ordered a GoPro hero 7 black yesterday so looking forward to that arriving

btw, you notice that the gopro has the most silly case design, the USB port is blocked, and to open the port, you need to remove the door and put back on the case.

had to get this:

there are a ton of other cases, however I'm keeping things as simple as possible until I get more acquainted with this gopro. Hypersmooth is really smooth, timewarp works for normal timelapses as well, sort of like S&Q 1fps for sony. Screen shuts off on its own to save power I think, so I need that port open to plug in usb power, want the port closed easily for weather sealing... Currently dont have any spare batteries, I'll see how long I can go with just one battery hate taking it out of the case. Also got an all in one selfie stick/tripod, like the idea of shooting from a high POV.

Just converted the throttle linkage system to a twist style. More mods to come since I've neglected my 65 for so long.

I previously shared a pano image from inside the Alcove House which is an elevated cave dwelling about 145 feet above the ground. Here are some images showing various compositions from up top including some of my family for scale and one of my silly son.

At first glance, the boot prints in the 2nd image made the structure behind them appear quite small until I scrolled down to the 3rd image and saw how it towered over your family.
