Glad you've got it going. I remember the breakthrough was the most challenging part, figuring out the basics and the video mental block as something too difficult or challenging. The R3 in particular is such an amazing video camera once you really start digging into its video features, shockingly amazing, and I have presets 2, 3, video mode, s&q, all dedicated to video
. Having custom buttons in video mode specifically...... simply amazing, missing a ton of those features on the A9, and dying without them. Picture profiles, I can get around with LUT's, but that would be very useful as well.
Video is a whole new world, rewarding as hell. Still difficult to make something really worthwhile, but I LOVE scheming up videos to make. Welcome to the rabbit hole, sliders, multi angle takes, external mic, all waiting for you
