Yeah it’s basically got two threaded holes on the bottom to allow attachment to any tripod screw. Alternatively you can attach a quick release arca plate and use it with a ball head. It would def work directly with a gorilla pod . Yeah the lack of promised accessories is a bit frustrating. Now that I’ve ordered the gopro I’m thinking I’m not going to bother with the dji extension if/when it’s released

Do you mind linking it again if it's not too much hassle? The quality of the video for the Osmo is great but the lack of extension rod and no 1 second interval for timelapse.

This A6000 is on Firmware 1.0

All seems to work as it should though. I've set it up similar to mine. Not tried the AF on it yet.

Cool video Charlie, I like the quick zoom at the 10 second mark

Meant to ask Charlie, do you just slowly zoom and pan as the shots are being taken? Trying to get my head around what you have done here

I’m planning on taking this to Kilimanjaro to charge in the field. It gets great reviews on other sites https://www.amazon.co.uk …sc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it (external link)

Out with that trip I’ll be using additional batteries . I bought these yesterday https://www.amazon.co.uk …=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image (external link)

The big K=dream trip !!
LIke the solar panel...I think I could find one or two in the gear room.
My problem is not huge amounts of light where I'm headed/compared to Africa anyway.
But a vehicle will always be around, so a 12DC cig plug in will be accessible.

I downloaded the OBS Studio capture software suggested by Charlie and am very impressed by how well it works and is very simple to use. I haven't done much playing with it though but so far, I give it a thumbs-up.

Here's a quick test I just did with no editing. This is a straight capture of my screen while I narrated.
