Playing with my new Godox SL60W LED light. This is the one that has AC power only and is about half the cost of the one with a battery pack. For my needs, this should work just fine.

This shot was taken with the Godox only. I took several exposures adding reflectors, etc and blended in PS.

Beautiful, misty light.

Thanks so much Gene.

I miss so many shots like this because I struggle so much to fall asleep at a decent hour. Only reason I got this is because my full bladder woke me up. I was walking back to our tent from the camp bathroom, saw the amazing light and went running for my camera. Snapped some brackets and went back to sleep.

Extremely cool. Colors, lighting composition, and arrangement all are fantastic.

Congrats on the brochure Bill. That's really cool. It's a beautiful hotel. I've not stayed there. I hope you can make a return visit. You'll be surprised by how much renovation work is going on around town.

---------------

On our last day in Santa Fe, we took a drive out to Anderson Overlook near Los Alamos. The view is beautiful but even more so when the conditions are right. I was fortunate to have clouds roll in and a break in them for the sun to light up the cliffs.

Epic. The sense of scale here is wonderful as is the subtle lighting on the formations.

Thanks very much David. I errr, did the same thing that you just did, I replaced the original image already so your quote will show a non image soon. We're just too fast around here.

Really cool Gene. Loving how the green from the bottle is cast upon the shot glasses. Really nice use of that light.

Thanks Carlo. Does this mean you couldn't tell that the glasses are the same? :-) I didn't realize until after I shot that the glass on the left, as you're facing the image, was a bit hazy and needed a good wipe down. So, I cloned the upper part of the right glass onto the left one. You can see the differences in the stems of the glasses.

I also noticed that in my haste to re-edit the image, I forgot to turn my sig back on. I hope MedicineMan doesn't spend too much time looking for it. :-)

That’s Weird. How do you focus then?

Edit - it says it has advanced eye AF

Eye AF for stills, that's great....but say you're doing a selfie vid and move the camera 1-3 feet...you'll go out of focus.
Maybe that is one reason they went with F4 :(
Regardless I'm now looking at Hero7Black.
I'd need a handle and some cage....I don't think cages are waterproof.
Shame. Heck I might just shoot it all on the RX100vi and not fool around with
yet another camera/batteries/charger.

Yes even in July. We are supposed to get another foot in the mountains this week

Cool, what about in August? That is when I will be back...

I have been consumed by our reno...just got caught up on this thread tonight...wanted to sit down and edit some images, but just too tired...so edited one racecar...#becauseracecar...now its time to go rest.
Tough shot for me, 70-200 with the 2x, all the way out to 400mm...panning with a fast car at 1/80...handheld...glad one with the flames was sharp.
