Other than awful battery life, I’m really liking many things about this little camera. I’m not even a 35mm guy (always liked something little wider than 35 like 24 or 28..) but this standard (but boring) FL is slowly growing on me as well. Looks great! I took the RX1RII to Disney World 2 years ago and it was fun as well as limiting to shoot with just the 35. Especially was fun trying to shoot the Animal Safari with a 35, lol. Tried playing my first 2 games and didn’t realize that each game needs to install onto the hard drive. So over 120gb used, can’t imagine how people use ones with a 500gb drive, only a few games and it’s full. First thing did was instal the biggest SSD that was on sale.

I made the video below on Lumafusion using drone and GoPro footage. Theres also still images in there taken on the a7rIII that I key framed to add some motion. Its 6 minutes long but if anyone can be bothered watching id appreciate the feedback. (Needs sound and a solid internet connection to keep the sound synced). ). And for some reason, having a new camera and joy of mobile editing on iPad Pro somehow reignited my somewhat died passion for actual photo taking (not just photography in general). I am now considering adding the a7RIII especially for live eye focus tracking on doggies.
