Funny thing about olives, I hear this a lot from some of my Canadian friends who didn't grow up with olives as part of their traditional cuisine. I have a friend of mine that will eat just about everything, road kill if it was presented to him but place a small bowl of olives in front of him and he looses it, it's become a bit of a joke when we get together.

In my family olives are a staple, we cook with olive oil, we add them to salads, most of our cuisine or serve them as appetizers or sides with dinner. I actually liked them so much that I planted a small olive grove some years back so I'll have my own production when I retire.

Who knew, I assumed everyone loves olives. They were special treats as I was growing up. When we drove through the San Joaquin Valley on Highway 99 to visit my aunt once a year, we would always stop at a roadside stand and buy a large can or two of olives. One of my favorite dishes was something my mom concocted she called "Spanish Delight" of beef, noodles and a tomato sauce that included pitted black olives.

I use olive oil for cooking and in salad dressings

It’s weird as I cook with olive oil too and like it on salads but an actual olive, not a chance! :)

However, the ultimate worst taste for me is sauerkraut. How anyone can eat that is beyond me. I was in Germany in a restaurant and was feeling sick with the smell of it on other people’s tables never mind our own table

I used to hate olives. Now I love olives. They're grrrrrreat!

Excited to get into another hobby again after 15 years of being absent. Just bought my uncles original owner 12k mile 2003 cobra. It’s a dedicated track car and super stoked to get back into road racing.

Expect some photo shoots with the car soon enough

It's a no no in this house for olives too!! But again, I'll sometimes use olive oil depending how I'm cooking and how much time I have!

Nice purchase! :-) Something else to spend money on..... :p

On the car subject, actually took the Escort out today! Tried to get some nice photos of it but really struggled. Wanted something in front of an old pub, garage, church, etc but we didn't come across anything..... Ended up popping in to see my mum and grabbed some on the industrial estate just around the corner where I work.

Any surface book users out there?

Microsoft isn't exactly sexy, but I feel like this is the best blend of a touchscreen interface for PP with full-fledged desktop apps and capabilities out there.

It can get pricey when you configure it though!

I badly want a Surface too but as I have an iPad Mini 4, my girlfriend says I can't buy it until that dies :(

From what I've read all the i5 versions and up run PS really well.

I have a Surface Pro 3 and although I don't use it much, I've always been pleased with it.

Oh, it's running Windows 8.1. I should upgrade to Windows 10 for it.

I use a decked out Surface Pro 4 for work. Inherited it from the CEO, other members of my team use full fledged laptops, but I’m using the SP4, it works for me but I like it’s small footprint and it’s easier for travel and I only use Office 365 for most of my work.

I've been using a surface pro i7 512gb 16gb for work for the past 3 years and while it's had a few issues mostly the screen went out twice but other than that it's been a rock solid machine and any other quirks I deal with due to the shear size. Love the pop out mouse and the keyboard.

Been my favorite computer by far to ever use. It may not be some power house but it operates everything I need perfectly.

I like it with win10 better but not by a whole lot. 8.1 is pretty good too compared to the original 8.

I would still recommend getting a Batis 18. It's an absolutely wonderful lens. Perhaps the issue was more common when the lens was released.

---------------

Same waterfall that I posted the other day but this time from the ground. I captured some nice reflected light on the wall that forms the arch framing the waterfall.

Went to the huntington with the family, found out that I still have no clue how to process gopro files, looks oversharpened and muddy..... Measly video took 3 hours to edit, LMAO, time flies when you mess with video. 28mm f2 is my favorite gimbal lens

fun video. you're getting really good at this. love the beginning walks and the ending where the kids are knocked out hahah
