Any surface book users out there?

Microsoft isn't exactly sexy, but I feel like this is the best blend of a touchscreen interface for PP with full-fledged desktop apps and capabilities out there.

It can get pricey when you configure it though!

I have a Surface Pro 4 that is pretty maxed out for work...it runs PS and LR and Capture One with no problem and the monitor is pretty close to accurate right out of the box. The smaller on board storage is limiting but can be worked around and the screen is not that big...small footprint.

fun video. you're getting really good at this. love the beginning walks and the ending where the kids are knocked out hahah

better than them arguing in the car. It's either their iPad while I drive or silence........ they can go rogue elsewhere, just not while I'm driving.

Waterfall in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Toughest part was balancing the vibrant greens from the foliage against the waterfall.

Who knew, I assumed everyone loves olives. They were special treats as I was growing up. When we drove through the San Joaquin Valley on Highway 99 to visit my aunt once a year, we would always stop at a roadside stand and buy a large can or two of olives. One of my favorite dishes was something my mom concocted she called "Spanish Delight" of beef, noodles and a tomato sauce that included pitted black olives.

I use olive oil for cooking and in salad dressings

3 different kinds of olives in the frig at any one time. Biblical for me.

I should have mentioned that I use an external hard drive with my Surface Pro 3. I don't use Lightroom or Capture One but I do have PS installed as well as the Sony Imaging Edge software for remote viewing and control of my camera.

Wonderful.
Is that the water race to the mill you posted? Or another?
Very nice to see these oldies preserved.

Does it actually hold water? I see your mill photo has a trickle going over the wheel

I want to try that Imaging Edge Software for the Surface Pro...I want to see how it works...I am going to be back in SF next week and have a little assignment I want to work on that would be easier to do if I could live review images...also might be helpful when shooting a big house with moving lights...

Be sure you have the newest versions. There is also an Imaging Edge Mobile, Movie Edit Addon, and Transfer & Tagging Addon.

i been using the Auto ISO 95% of the time and moving the compensation dial for the shooting environment, this after doing nothing but full manual on my Canon. i cant believe i trust it that much. along with the in body stabilization this camera has actually given me more confidence when i shoot. been using the MC-11 and the Canon 50 STM. exited to see how a native mount lens would work.
