Here is something you don't see everyday.. a heart shaped cactus, growing along the beach area of Poenisch Park, in Corpus Christi, TX.

Photo taken this morning. Have a great Monday!

Last night in Skagit

It was an absolute circus up there as you would expect on a sunny Sunday. We came in late for sunset around 6pm and traffic leaving was backed up for about 9 miles to get on I5 south. That being said, its my happy place :)

He (obviously) comes across in quite a preaching sort of way but I have followed him for a while as he does some great work & his videos are pretty good too for content, quality, etc

I have only seen a couple of videos yet...I found him while looking at info on the AD200...trying to learn more about using it...I have not found him to be preachy just yet...maybe later he will be!

That said, I used that method to tweak this image...and I think it came out better...I don't have the SOOC with me, the top was my original attempt at killing off the terrible green cast we had from shooting outside yesterday...no warning...or I might have brought my Ad400 and such...very minor correction but for the better IMO...

you ever try portrait pro?

while the advertising is sort of ridiculous, the workflow and manipulation for portraits is pretty amazing. You can make subtle or drastic changes. Even presets for manipulating the face.

you can do all that stuff in photoshop, but portrait pro is so much faster, designed for that workflow. It does skin tones as well.

Tone it down 90% and you can get really flattering results.

even if you dont use the face forming, the eyes, skin smoothing and color work very well on their own. Give it a trial run, you can make 4 presets, male/female adult/child, and you're
80% done. For weddings, you might give it that extra 20% attention, remove spots, tidy hair, ect.
