Thank everyone.

Sore shoulder for me, and camera and lens are fine and both working as they should. Silly mistake, and one I'll learn from :)

Last night while out shooting I slipped on some wet rocks and fell over. Full legs coming completly up over my waist height and landing on my backside and back. It looks like the the lens hood of my 85mm took the most damage. Thats gone somewhere as it pinged off and I can't find it. There is a small hit on the focusing barrel and a small paint scuff off the top of my camera where the flash hot shoe is just above the Sony logo. The flash hot shoe also took a hit and has slightly dented making the little plastic piece thats slides in hard to get out. I landed on my back with my camera bag on. All lenses seem to be ok. Camera and 85mm are working fine too and I've ordered a new lens hood.

Big lesson I learned is not to be lazy and when moving to a new spot to take the camera and lens off the tripod.

I think the hot shoe will spring back out. Its all fine, but very tight to get the flash on and the plastic slide back in. Gutted and really annoyed at myself ! vmad

Damn! You're mighty lucky! Gear can be replaced Gaab cannot.

Thanks, Robert, looking forward to it. The burst rate on this thing caught me off guard. :-)

Snapped this from the garage of my gym. Epic sunrise over a not so epic costco parking lot lol.

I'm going to make a habit of bringing my camera with me every day again on the off chance that I catch these types of sunrises in the morning. Just need to put more effort into the locale

24GM. Handheld and kinda dark so shot wide open. Should have slowed the SS down....need to put more effort on composition too.

Haven’t been able to test my new lens yet. Weather and other life obstacles getting in my way. vmad

Re: 24GM...hoping to make it my next addition. Optically the Sigma 24mm would suit me well, but I just don’t want a heavy lens when a smaller lighter lens that’s just as good is available.
