A different POV than I'm used to seeing...and a rare, clear day to boot.

I'll tell you when I fell in love with olive oil.
In winter!
For 35+ years I was a big backpacker, thousands of miles hiked, then of course
multiple surgeries (knees/feet/etc.) and the old age slow down. But we backpacked
year around and winters, well you know they are cold :)
About an hour before winter sleep I would drink, yep, straight up, one ounce of
olive oil.
Incredible how warm that would keep me through a cold night in the hammock.

I've never drank it straight up but I remember going back home and my grandmother would bake home made bread and we would pour a bit of olive oil over it and sprinkle it with a bit of sugar while it was still warm:-)

Thanks. Yeah, different spot, it was on the road up to Hawk Hill, just across from a little turnout for slow cars!

What time if day was it too?

You're lucky you could go for the longer exposure. I forgot to pack my remote so I could only do 30 seconds max exposure haha

DLee did you have your phone?
I think you can do as long as you want via the app, counting in your head or looking at your watch. Double check me please.

I think it does. Or the old App used to. Not actually tried the new renamed one yet! Press to open the shutter and press again to close sounds familiar.

Of course..... I could well be completely wrong and thinking of something else.... :-D

I don't think the new app is even different at all so far so if it worked on the old one I'm sure it still works now :D

It was probably around 6:30...the A7R2 date and time is all jacked up and I keep forgetting to fix it...I have no idea why, but it is always off, I will set them both at the same time and before too long the r2 is wrong...and I don't think I adjusted it for DST...so just a guess really, we shot here and then drove over to Baker Beach for sunset.

You have just made me realise I didn’t adjust my date/time when I got to Florida. Keep forgetting to do that.

On another note been floored with some virus thing for a day or so. Achy body, feel like I’ve got flu, nausea, feels like I have a lump in my throat when I swallow and getting cold sweats at night. Bit of googling has me wondering if it’s West Nile virus from one of the mosquito bites I’ve got? Seems like there isn’t any treatment and I just need to ride it out

I always forget to change it when I cross time zones...but then I would forget to change it when I get home too...

Sorry you are feeling lousy...might just be a cold from all the travel and being around too many people on your trip...and all that time on an airplane...test tubes for germs!
