Master's work Vinz. I even like the position of her foot. Did you tell her to do anything with the feet?

I’ve been enjoying a day out shooting - using the 12-24, 50, and 100 and I have a growing recognition that it’s going to be really hard to justify adding the amazing 24GM for one simple reason: I love shooting the 12-24 too darn much.

I've gotten a 12-24 loaner from Sony 3 times now. It's not an optical world beater, but I really love that lens. Too many good choices for Sony on the UWA side of things...confuses the hell out of me.

I want to Loxia 21, 24GM, 16-35GM, 12-24, and perhaps the Tamron UWA zoom coming. I'm not even an UWA guy!

The BeAlpha event tonight was fun...not as cool as the one DTBaan had...no Tough Memory Cards for free...and I think the organizers missed a huge opportunity with the space...but it was fun and I got some cool images...they only had 4 135mm...and didn't tell anyone...so I didn't get to use one. Talked to folks that already own it and they love it...might have to make it happen.

Thanks. Yah I pretty much directed everything. She don't know how to pose.

Haha you're pulling my leg and I know it!
Honestly if have any valuable input it might (emphasize might) be with longer lenses but I'm at the point
where I've decided that the 100-400 will do 95% of everything I'd ever want to shoot and that all the other
efforts are just vainful.
Truthfully with the latest crop of FE lenses can we ask for anything more? and your latest 100mm, another shimmering
gem to use. At this point if I could have anything right now it'd be the Tam 17-28 just to save a touch of weight for trips.

Not pulling your leg at all. I’m really appreciative of your thoughts since you own both lenses...I think you’re the only one here that does.

The 100-400...Yesterday I spent time in the Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge specifically for the purpose of contemplating adding the 100-400. It’s entirely within my consideration to return the 100GM and go with a 100-400mm instead. It really comes down to a value judgment.

Sony’s announcement of the FE 12-24 G, FE 16-35 GM, and FE 100-400 GM will probably go down as the most painful product announcement I’ll ever experience because all three are so damn good and I want - but cannot have - them all. Happily the FE 12-24mm is exceeding all my expectations and I may now be willing to let go my CV 12mm.

Thank you. As Peter Hurley said, technical part are like pre-req in portraiture. the major subject would be directing. I'm not there for sure. Just trying.

Advice needed. -?

A real estate photography company wanted to hire me. They said, they'll take care of all the marketing in my area, all i have to do is shoot.

I'm guessing it's going to be like tourfactory.com

I don't know what's the $$ arrangement yet but what do you think is the best? I like to know some of your ideas before I talk to them on Tuesday.

Not sure yet but I doubt there will be a non-compete clause in the contract. I asked my contact about it and he told me not to worry about it and that it does not even apply in the state of Ca.

TIA

Vinz, what was the outcome of this opportunity? Hopefully everything worked out in your favor.

We've postponed the meeting. I got busy but I think i'm leaning towards not signing up. I'm beginning to have more and more realtors hiring me and I bet this company will have a no compete clause on their contract.

I'm sure you'll do well on your own. Your RE work is excellent.

I know not everyone likes to click on links so here are some of my favorites from the Sam Houston House which I posted about yesterday.

This hallway was quite dark and challenging to light in the field.

great shots Alfredo. I've been using Enfuse only lately. 2 ambient shot and a flash frame.

it's just a lot faster to shoot and edit. Enfuse do batch processing. I just prep the files, stack them and run the enfuse. then a bit of fine tuning in LR.

here's a couple of samples.
