Only Gene can make vinegar look good.
As always love the sig.

We had 15-20 min's between rains today, but still diffuse light-which is best for bugs.
So tore myself away from the Optimus and did stroll for this little guy hiding between
the grape leaves.

Fantastic details. I still don't understand how you're able to get such great DOF on your macro shots, especially when just taking a little stroll through the grape vines. Color me envious. I'm just not steady enough to be able to pull that kind of shot off anymore.

Well you know I don't know the science of it but it was F10, doesn't that help?

Just saw this at SAR
'On the other hand the 200-600mm FE preorders will open 1-2 days after the announcement on Monday. Shipment start sometimes in July.'

Anybody else in if it is real?

Depending on the price point I might be tempted to pick one up. I'm not much of a wildlife shooter but I'm thinking ahead to my retirement years and this is always an area of photography that has interested me, given what my plans are it would be great to have something in the super long end.

I'm very interested in knowing if either or both tele-extenders will work with the 200-600mm telephoto lens considering the slow apertures.

I bet neither will, that it will be like the 70-200/4.
IF they'd put out the crop body I want it wouldn't matter.

Yes, I was just thinking I might be better off adding the a6400 along with a 200-600 to take advantage of better AF performance as well as the crop factor.

Of course, I wouldn't look the other way for a firmware upgrade to give my a6500 faster AF and tracking. ;-)a

Nikoshita confirmed it so it's real, they are never wrong.

Pretty much all the stuff on rumor sites are fake and the only time they are correct, is if it's copied from Nikoshita.
