Dont you just love thtat "macro" lens! great shot

I am doing a Corporate Headshot gig this coming weekend for a guy, he sent me some pretty bad examples of the other executives in his new company he joined as a guideline...I waned to test a couple new things so with a friend in town this weekend I shot a few of him as practice. What do yall think of the lighting.

I really don't get people...delivered a set of images last week...heard nothing. So I inquired now that the holiday has settled down. The response I got was, the new images don't look all that different to the ones we have that we only paid $100 for...and the new ones are not as vivid.

Top is original for the taste and feel of what was done...bottom is what I delivered from almost the same spot...I am floored.

And, you put a picture on the tv too !!! :P

Wow, some people eh. Makes you wonder what they expect. Its just night and day between the two sets.

Macro, a huge advantage of the 100400 over the 200600.

Don't get down about it. People often just suck.

Just got back from carrying a backpack for 3 days, so catching up on last week with
another from the a500+45/1.8 Samyang (or Rokinon I can't remember)

For starters, it's the same room with the same furnishings, so yes, it is going to look similar. But, even at a quick glance it's improved in image quality, the TV, glare, the throw on the armchair, the inside /outside light balance.....
