My son has a VTECH kids camera that he takes random photos with. I took the microSD card out tonight to transfer the images onto my laptop as it was full and somehow the card wiped itself! I’m running some data recovery software now so fingers crossed. Obviously not the greatest photos as he is 5 years old but special in the fact he took them and he had also taken loads of Isla as a baby. Hopefully not a disaster!

This is why real kids cameras have dual slots

I would be interested in the 14-24 IF the hood was removable, based on the shared image it doesn't look like that will be the case but hopefully I'm wrong.

It’s weird to me that, for bulbous wa lenses, manufacturers are terrified to release them with removable hoods. Canon TS-E 17mm is a rare exception for a fully exposed bulbous front element...a hood isn’t feasible for a 17mm tilt shift I suppose.

Wait, there is a new 14-24mm for Sony emount? That's really cool. We have so many options now.

Yes there will be very soon once the announcement makes it official haha. Apparently it's a tiny bit smaller than the DSLR version.

I hope your recovery efforts are successful. Although I wasn't nearly as young, I still have a couple of photos I took on my Brownie back when I was about 10 or so. Brings back a lot of good memories.

Explored a new section of the San Antonio Mission Trail yesterday. Found this cool spot for long exposure. 4 stop ND with CPL.

FE 16-35 GM (been neglecting my Loxia 21 for some reason. I think I'm just being lazy in the field.)

Thanks for all the feedback. I went to the one with strobe and manual blending.

Here's a couple more.

I'm going to pre-order the 35 f1. 8. Have been waiting for this lens forever.

If it works out, I'll sell the 35 1.4za and keep the 35 1.8 for AF, and voigtlander 40 for super fast aperture and rendering

I'm jealous! I can't wait to hear what your impressions of it are, just size and weight alone have me impressed.
