I really enjoyed watching its behaviors. It would also call out and a red tailed hawk would hang out in a tree close by... Just a thought from Daniel

If Sony hasn't produced one by November-ish I'll begrudgingly add the Riv. The pixel density of the Riv is 7.11, greatest pixel density I've ever seen. Putting into perspective the D850 and A7Riii are 5.32 MP/cm² 4.94 MP/cm² respectively. The difference is HUGE. Be most curious how Sony addresses the associated noise with those densities. I'm sure they've got mojo up their sleeve. I picked up a A7R3 last December for a trip to Portugal so I think I'm going to pass omg the A7RIV even though there are somethings that I really like about the new camera. What I'm really looking forward to is the A9 replacement. Sony A1, A7R2

Jul 18, 2019 13:14 | #30941 David Arbogast wrote in post #18895908 Awesome Alfredo!!! I have the funds available to order the camera, but that money is part of this year’s emergency fund. So, I’m going to hold for a while - maybe for the rest of the year - just to make sure it’s a safe purchase. When I do buy the camera I hope to get the FE 200-600mm with it as well. 26 MP in crop mode @600mm is great. With just a few notable exceptions I haven’t ever needed huge-printable images, but having essentially a FF and a high-res APS-C camera in one single camera opens up new possibilities for me. I’ve always felt that more resolution just offers more flexibility. This is what’s tempting me, I too have been waiting for the mini-A9/A7000, however with this it is both in one, has anyone seen if it has the zero blackout like the a9?

Charlie wrote in post #18895844 I'm all aboard the stacked sensor or bust train ![]() I'm not really hurting for cameras, there are a few things that I want, and mainly a FF A6xxx sized body with Z battery. Popup or external EVF, just dont use it enough to have it full time. On another note, ready to preorder the Tamron 17-28, but am I too late? I'de hate to be on some impossible wait list. I was going to hold off on this camera but decided to get on the pre-order list. I was wanting to get the FE 100-400 GM but that will have to wait a while. I've seen some sample JPEGs from the camera and the ability to zoom in is pretty nice.
