Ah Yellow Jackets are Hornets. We have them in UK though our native ones are more russet coloured than yellow. If you meet one of these in an enclosed space the sound is enough to warn you. If a Wasp is a Lynx helicopter, the Hornet is a Chinook ;-)a

Having said that take a look at what's arrived in Britain. The Giant Asian Hornet...

This summer when I step outside with my camera and lens the front element fogs up instantly from all the humidity (which has been next-level insane lately). That is worrisome and it has me convinced go ahead and buy that Ruggard Dry Cabinet to keep my gear dehydrated when not in use.

The little 30L model will be snug but seems a best fit for my lenses + camera.

Continuing to goof around with my "product photography" setup.

Playing around with a model car and the FE 90 macro.

THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

I think I need to redo this shot with focus stacking (which is something I know nothing about). Would prefer the entire car to be in focus.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

On an unrelated note, my quest for the perfect gear bag continues...I've recently stumbled across the Mindshift Photocross 13. Anyone try it?
The idea of a sling that I can access without setting down, but that's large enough for 2-3 lenses + a body, is rather appealing.

Love the bokeh balls from the bridge. Nicely composed too. Cool shot!

Thanks
I was a bit surprised by this lens .. not bad at all for about 25 bucks .. im really enjoying it on a7sii.. not sharp by todays standards , but sharp enough in my opinion especially for portraits

Picked up my used but new to me A6500 yesterday. Gotta say, I love it! I really like the Auto ISO Minimum Shutter Speed function, silent shutter, handling and overall feel of it and glad I upgraded. I don't think anyone wants to see the 200 shots I took last night of the TV remote so I won't add them but I'll try and shoot something post worthy tonight.

Had the 10 and returned it. Too small and rode too low on my back.

i returned the CV15. i think it's not the lens for me. I would save for the FE16-35F4.

I'm interested in a CV 15mm; what turned you off about it? Just too wide?

it has it's strength, architectural interiors and exteriors for sure. for landscape, everything are too far. you really need to literally get close to the water for example. you can always crop but you will loose a lot of resolution.

Also I don't wanna be changing lenses when you are on a breezy areas like the beach or near a waterfalls.

it's not bad. it's just not for me.

what i love about it is the size and the hard stop infinity at F5.6. you just keep shooting. everything are in focus.

Requesting your Loxia 21 ordering advice:
I want to be able to return the item if not satisfied, does B&H return policy apply to used lenses as well as new ones? Nice savings with used ones, but I want to make sure I don't get stuck with a decentered copy.

What would you do?

David, I haven't confirmed this myself but I believe their return policy for used gear is the same as new. That's awesome you're getting the Loxia 21. What changed your mind?

My quest to find the 35mm f/2.8 for a good price has ended finally! I enjoyed it on my original a7, never got it for my a7rII, but it'll find it way back into my bag for my a9 as a walk around lens. But the seller offered me a package deal I couldn't resist so looks like I'll also be the owner of the 55mm f/1.8 as well. It wasn't really on my radar as a $700 or so lens, but asking price was good and I eventually probably would've picked it up as I'm sure there would be times when the 35 wouldn't be fast enough and the 85 would be too long. 3/6 complete of my final kit. I'm thinking of a 3 prime, 3 zoom kit consisting of the 35/55/85 and the f4 zoom trio of the 16-36/24-70/70-200. Glad that the primes are out of the way.
