My dad grew up in Avon Park Florida, and a few miles away a small city named Sebring. They had races there and my dad would take me. I remember him pre-race walking around would not let me get anywhere close to any cars on display, telling me the paint cost more than he made in a year. We used to have an Avon Park here too. Old airfield turned into a drag racing venue. Being built on now......

I can't believe Travis carries on the 36 either. I'd never get the 36 because of what I'd put in it and then not be able to lift it! Eriet (I've posted this before, so sorry for the repeat) here's the MS Backlight 18 loaded for bear ![]() That won't be the trip loadout. I've decided that if the 200-600 gets here to go all Sony. Won't know for 10 more days on that. But this gives an idea of what can fit an 18L... and yep, all the junk around the pack in the pic easily fits inside. I've just received yet another huge weight and space saver for the trip. I'll post up images if any are interested. It replaces my Dell XPS Touch 13 at 1/2 the weight and even more space saving. I'd even thought of doing the trip just with a Samsung Tab S3 but when I saw the new unit forgot about the tablet altogether.

Because I was only there for two nights and expected hectic schedule, I only took my little RX1RII just in case I needed to use it. Unfortunately I didn't get much photo ops. What I appreciated was how beautiful the city was, and since I had already seen so many of your fantastic SA photos I felt very welcomed to the city. What I appreciated even more was how wonderfully you captured each parts of your city. Cityscapes, architectures, and just a few local attractions (Riverwalk) I got to briefly see were portrayed much more beautifully in your photos than in actual real life. You are a great photographer and please do keep sharing your SATX photos. I only managed to take a quick picture of the hotel we stayed, while walking back from the convention center. ![]() Wow thank you so much Joon! I'm happy you found our city to be beautiful and felt welcomed. I'm glad you were able to check out a few local attractions despite the heat. The new convention center is pretty nice as is that hotel you stayed in. Thank you for the kind words regarding my photos. I'll keep sharing images. Next time you come into town, let me know. I'll show you around. The city is growing so much. Hopefully you got a chance to see some of the historic missions. - Alfredo -

I was pretty much stuck between convention center and hotel. Luckily Riverwalk was right below our hotel, so I was able to take short walks there. The first moment of arriving near downtown from airport, I was like "Hey, I know that tower, hey I know that building, etc.." They just all looked so familiar, thanks to your detailed and wonderful photos. Despite being a really short and tight trip, it was not hard to tell how beautiful the city was. If I'm allowed more flexible schedule next time, I'll be sure to hit you up. Thank you~ a7RII • a7C • V12 • L21 • S24GM • S85
