yes, stability is a big part of my shooting, weebill lab (not the most stable), gopro, and insta360.

unfortunately, I'm kind of stuck with the weebill lab, it's got the neatest features of all gimbals, underslung mode, but it can be robotic at times. Movement isnt buttery smooth, the gimbal costs a lot as well. :-(

I just bought a Moza Air 2. i've tried it in the Philippines and i'm convinced it's the gimbal for me. I also like that you don't need a celphone to adjust settings. it has a small LCD.

I was a vauxhall guy initially. First car was a Nova 1.2 SR, then I had a Nova 1.6 GSI (flying machine at the time!). From there ive had all sorts from Mitsubishi FTO to Audi A4. My fav is my current though which is a BMW 335D Estate as its an absolute rocket. Its quick enough that its helping taking away the desire to buy another sports bike. Ford wise ive had an Escort 1.4, a Fiesta 1.2 and a Focus 1.6 :)

One of my best mates used to be well into the Vauxhall scene in our early driving days. Astra's and GTE's. Living in Bristol driving is just a chore now so I'm happy with the Focus for those duties.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. Ya'll rock.

Things are looking positive so I don't think I'll be on the bench long this time around.

If I can ask what field are you in.

Various roles in finance and strategy. Mostly financial planning and analysis. My latest role was actually in sales and marketing...developing the annual sales plan, short-term forecasts, and building out strategies for each of our sales and marketing channels to make sure we hit the targets we set. The career uncertainty sucks but I'm used to it. I'm mostly bummed because I really enjoyed this role and was hoping to stick with it for a while and build my career around it.

When do the 200-600s start dropping? Anyone got a good tip on where to buy that doesn’t have an excessively long wait times - like waiting for B&H to fulfill all their preorders?

You might try small stores.

When I decided to get the 500 PF I printed off a list of authorized Nikon dealers and was able to get on a short waiting list with Houston Camera Exchange. I also helped another forum member by tipping them off that Biggs Camera (small shop in NC) had one sitting on the shelf. It only took me about an hour tops calling.

Goat Lake 8240'. Sawtooth Range, Idaho. 8.1mi round trip. 1600' elevation gain....most of which is in two parts with the rest being quite chill through the forest.

I've got to give a shout out to my ancient LR 6.14. I should have had a wider lens but only took the 24/1.8 (35mm FF). This is 15 a shot portrait orientation pano with 7 across the top and 8 across the bottom. Maybe a little excessive but I don't think I could have got it with much less than 13 shots and didn't want to risk it. LR 6.14 on a standard iMac of about 2 years old took it's time but cranked the stitch out like a champ! :-)

Nicely done. Too bad you didn't shoot this in HDR, that would have only taken 45 exposures. :p

I"m always amazed at how well Photoshop/Lightroom does on stitching/stacking multiple images into one.

Sweet Dude! Sawtooth lake is a super classic. I love everything about that hike. Funny....in all my years here I've never taken the left to go to Goat Falls/Lake!
