Thank you, although your fly pics the past few days have left my jaw on the ground. Such detail and color!

Shooting the peacocks in back-to-back mini-sessions with a different lenses told me pretty much what I already knew:

--the Minolta 200G delivers the goods even with the 2xTC.
--The 135ZA delivers even better overall IQ.

I had to sharpen the images from the 200G some, and the 135ZA not at all.

Those peacocks are a trip! They strut around a few blocks of the downtown area like they own the place! It is a true breath of fresh air for such a depressed town.

We're going back up with the Saw-whets migrate, that patch of boreal forest between where you parked and the overlook
should be prime habitat to find one-flash needed ;)

Never tried it. I tend to have trouble with early mornings, which is why most of my shooting is at sunset.
Maybe one of these days. Let me know.
