Yeah they aren't for everyone. My girlfriend rarely uses earphones/headphones too. Probably why she got so angry at me for buying them....

Thanks Gene,I had my AD200 just above of the camera shooting through a softbox. The case was much brighter before but I tend to crush the blacks. The SOOC image is below which I did some focus stacking which is why the case is OOF (this is 1 of 3 images).

If your ears got sore using AirPods, I think the WH-1000XM3's headphones would probably be better. I can only use these for a few hours at a time so haven't experienced any discomfort yet.

I listen to podcasts slightly more than music but both sound great on these.

Thank you!

Thank you!

All good! One thing I forgot to mention is my main motivation for getting these are their portability. I often go out after work and don't have any backpack or anything so it's more tedious carrying headphones compared to this tiny case.

I still plan to use my headphones daily but if I had neither, I could easily and happily survive with just these Earbuds.

In my local area I am fortunate that there’s a shop called Headphonebar. Audition anything you want. My pair of Campfire Solaris cost as much as my Sigma 105 f1.4. In ear monitors (IEM) can match 20+ thousand dollars hifi systems easily. Realism and holographic sound is in a world of its own when you get into high fidelity IEMs. I haven’t even started on amplification and high bit rate music source! Don’t venture this path because it may be another means of thinning the wallet!!

10 dynamic drivers in each. There goes my budget for a GMaster 24f1.4 LOL!

As you were all talking off topic about a amazon series a few pages back, my most recent watched is Billions, first series is free, 2 & 3 you have to buy..All about wall street hedge funds and an aggressive attorney general who has other motives of rising in the political world to take them down.

Thanks for the mention of "The Boys"

All seasons have been screened live on Sky in the UK. It’s a great serious with some clever twists and interesting changes in dynamic between the main characters

My Phonak hearing aids, along with the companion Compilot Air 2 allow me to wirelessly listen to my audio/video components using Bluetooth connectivity as well as my smartphone hands-free.

I got the sennheiser momentum true wireless a couple months ago. They're on the pricey side but sound awesome. I use these at the gym, during my commute, in the office, and when out and about running errands by myself so it was worth splurging on. I use them while shooting sometimes too.

I had the Jay bird runs for about 2 years and managed to not lose them so I was comfortable getting these. The key thing is to make sure you store them in the charging case whenever you take them off. It gets dicey when you put them in your pocket or set them down by themselves. The sennheisers have a transparent hearing mode that you can quickly toggle... It feeds ambient sounds through the headphones as needed, which keeps you from having to take them off whenever you need to hear what's around you or hear what people are saying to you.

Congrats on reaching that weight Robert. I'd like to get back down around there too. Right now, I'm not only not in the neighborhood but not even in the same state as 177lbs. :p

Dr. Neutron, same guy we hike with, follows my progress via sharing apps like Myfitnesspal and Endomoto. He messaged me and said 'you're there, plan maintenance now'. I hear him but plan on reaching 175 for a little winter buffer when I slow down and the mammalian instincts to store fat kick in.

Nice. I’d love to see more captures from you of the Kimbell, one of Louis Kahn’s several architectural masterpieces.

Thank you, David.Unfortunately I didn't shoot much of the interior this time as I was with a bunch of friends who don't have the same appreciation for architecture photography. I managed to shoot a few at the MOMA across the street and some details inside the Kimbell

I may give the Airpods a try, the current style of earphones has some advantages and disadvantages. It's big but smaller than headphones. It's not really discrete and can't easily put away. What I like, I can't lose as easily, misplaced my USH-II card for a few days, had me freaking out :-P. One ear use, simply let the other side dangle. Convenience of being with me. It's on my shoulders/neck all day.

I do have a set of headphones, but not my preference for workouts. Wouldn't wear these earphones either, would like something at a throw away price due to risk of damage. I run in the streets rather than a gym or indoors.

Worked with the Riii+200600 this morning.
The Riii needs some work for this lens.
AF is slow in shade sometimes hunting...compared to the a9.
Something tells me the Riv will be an improvement.
