I am learning to work with video, and doing it in PS...so sorry if this is pretty amateur...I don't have any good way to record audio just yet either. I am going to pick up a mic setup next week. This was from the first night in the park...dealing with annoying people that disrespect the park and others enjoying it...

Next time get license plates/snap pics of the operators. Drones are seriously illegal in GSMNP.
The rangers will hunt them down.

I should have. I did do that in JTNP a couple years ago, reported to the Ranger station on exit...since there are stations on entry/exit out there...

Finished up The Boys and really enjoyed it. Great cast. Love all the subtle cultural reference humor. My favorite moment is when the show not so subtly references SNLs hilariously infantile Laser Cats skits that Bill Hader (who looks a LOT like Jack Quaid!) and Andy Samberg used to do.

Karl Urban is just too cool - I’m a long time fan since I first saw him in The Bourne Identity and Chronicles of Riddick.

Biggest complaint is what the heck is going on these days with shows getting shorter and shorter. An eight episode season is just sad.

Charlie wrote in post #18910981 (external link)
Homelander, greatest hero in existence.

I watched the show without knowing the episode count. The pace was so fast, over before I realized. Could be worse I guess, stranger things felt forever, attack on Titan, one punch man, years in between.

My understanding is that season two is already being worked on. So that's good, gives me some time to explore other Amazon videos.

I still haven't finished it, but am enjoying it.

I don't mind shorter seasons as long as the quality is there. Most shows have a bunch of useless filler episodes.

Cobra Kai seasons are super short too, but really good!

Also a big fan of The Boys. Fans of MCU-type movies/shows might not like it, but it's an awesome, gritty (and I'd argue more realistic) take on the kind of influence that those with power wield.

Bill is my name - I'm the most wanted man on my island, except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.

if you're going to be doing voice over's, get an app on your phone and a quiet room. On location then I would try something without batteries first. The Saramonic SR-XM1 is better than onboard, and small, my preferred gimbal microphone, can be quickly rotated your direction however since it's an omnidirection MIC, this feature is less optimal, nice improvement in quality. Second is the Rode Micro, not too big yet, but starting to get cumbersome. I velcro mine to a lens to keep the bulk down, and able to keep it attached. I find as soon as it gets cumbersome, I stop using it...... like my Rode Video pro, which out of the bunch has the highest quality. The Rodes are quite good if you're directly in front of them, very directional and cut out a ton of ambient noise. The bulk and size is what keeps them at home, if you have an effective way of carrying them, you use it more. The Tamron 28-75 or FE 28 can velcro the micro directly and size kept down, but there are some tweaks I had to do to make this work.

The Rode Micro is what I am going to start with...based on my research...

Well my LCD seems to have stopped working :-(. EVF is working. Any thoughts here? I'm guessing its just shot. I hope Sony announces a mini a9 or something cool and small in the APS-c line later this month.

UGH.... Are you 100% sure the sensor in the viewfinder isn't blocked in any way?

The same thing happened to my A9. I was able to fix the problem by removing the rubber eyepiece and cleaning it and the eyepiece seat and then reseating the rubber eyepiece. Apparently, if the eyepiece will interfere with the EVF light sensor if it is even slightly out of place..

Not the most photogenic but here's a shot of a Skipper butterfly at 560mm using the 1.4x on my FE 100-400mm lens.

I think it's toast. The sensor isn't blocked and I tried cleaning it. still nothing. Pretty lame.....This now makes for an even less fun camera to use. In reality, the only think I have ever liked about this camera is the size and images. Everything else totally sucks. It's the most awkward I've ever used.. I really hope Sony announces something this month that interests me in a big way.
