here's a couple of panos from the top of the mountain. You can see a little bit of smoke in the second image.

My sunrise shoot in Rainier was planned around getting an image like this...I wanted a clear sky, I like it better that way for the reflection. Sometimes dramatic skies can be overpowering if they are also reflected in a nice still and calm lake. 3 image pano with the Batis 18, because I didn't have a lot of time...so single frames, no brackets.

Top notch photography there travis. Reflection is awesome, tones are nice, nice crisp warm light on the mountain snow and then mist rising to top it off

It's hitting the sweet spot not surpassing 30+MP. It'll only cost a Canadian hopefully 6700 bucks CDN :(

30ish MP and A9 speed. I would be tempted at that, not so much by the price though I bet :)

You prolly don't recall but the first image I posted of Alice Lake had a total mountain reflection. I think I prefer this on. The reflection doesn't seem to steal the show as with the previous. This is an 85mm stitch.

I'm almost thinking you should consider the GFX50S for you model shots. Or if you stay in the Sony eco system the A7r4.

Realistically this is a nice to have but not need to have.

I'm on the fence as I can get an aging A9 for about 5600 bucks or just wait for the A9mk2. Lotsa money for a casual fun Sony camera system.

For those of you that have a GMaster 16-35 or A73........How many of you remove the battery from time to time due to lockup?? This is when I try to wake up the camera. Nothing to do with firmware as the old and new firmware did identical lockup.

When I first bought my GMaster 16-35mm it would lock up the camera and the two memory card indicators would look as if it's buffering or reading. I had my new lens replaced with another new lens. All is well to a degree.

Seems once in a blue moon I'll get that same lockup. I do not use my camera for weddings as I've walked away from that world of photography. I still have my bag of Canon L glass and 5dmk3/4. My canon has NEVER locked up on me.

Is this a common lockup? My other A73 does not do this lockup but I only use it with my Sig 105, GM70-200 and 85 f/1.8 as my second body.

Almost wondering if this is a GM 16-35mm communication thing.....

My primary A73 does not lockup when I have my other lenses. Seems it's only the Gmaster 16-35mm.

I’ve had no issues with my 16-35 GM with a7RII. That’s an odd issue you’re experiencing.

i have on more than one occasion had the a9 get stuck between acquiring focus and taking the picture...or when I go to review the images it is stuck on focus acquisition...and an on/off resets it...but it happens with different lenses infrequently.
