Yep....That's it! I guess I have always had the e-Front Curtain shutter on and only heard one click. Should I turn it off? Is that how all the cool kids shoot?
;-)a

Cory, for shutter speeds faster than 1/1000 EFCS affects the bokeh in a negative way. Other than that it’s fine. I’ve started either shooting fully electronic (no bokeh issues but risk of rolling shutter) or full mechanical (no efcs), mainly because I keep forgetting to turn it off when over 1/1000

If you want to keep it simple though just turn it on. I used it on for years

Mine was always on until the bokeh issues at high shutter speeds at f/1.2 etc on the CV40

So now it's off.

Thanks guys! I'll play with it. I do shoot a lot over 1/1000 with wide apertures. I think I'll keep it off for a while and see how it goes. I don't mind the double click, it was just different. Being the control freak I am I wouldn't have slept until I figured out why. Thanks!

BTW...the tracking on this camera is a total game changer! I'm super stoked. Ned to decide if I'm gonna sell the 6500. Better do it sooner than later cause it won't be worth anything in a year or so.

In the busier part of the Hoh Rainforest, to avoid having people in my images, I had to focus on using the longer lenses...looking for little patches of light or interesting things. These Nurse Logs are massive ancient trees that have fallen and had new trees grow out of them...this one had at least 4 growing from its trunk.

Went to Midland, TX to paint live at a wedding and saw this windmill blade on a truck...mind boggling, especially when you realize that the windmill on the left is really close to the road.
And woke up to a gorgeous sunrise. Shot through a very dirty hotel window and stitched 3 shots. The other one is a single shot.

Light Painting of one of the 19 mural paintings of Shane Grammer. Shane was born and grew up in Paradise, Ca. His house was also one of the unfortunate homes who got burnt down into ashes during the Camp Fire last year.

With an invitation and teachings of Don Campbell, a photography professor of Butte College, I was lucky enough to had photographed one of the last 2 masterpieces out of 19 that Shane painted around the said devastated town.

With Tammy 28-75

What a beautiful but strange sky in that first one! :)

Awesome Travis. I just don't know where to look first!

This was from holiday. Again along the Jurassic Coast at Durdle Door. I just happened to turn my back on the coastline for a single shot.....
