Thank you. The clouds were kind of of chopped up. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me.

How about some more layers...but this time from up in MRNP...the little dark spec mid frame is a Golden Eagle. It was so cool to stand there on this bluff looking out over this and hearing that eagle screeching...and hearing NOTHING else...it was so quiet, so peaceful and worth the hike up.

I know it might not be what you are after...but one thing I like to do with high ISO images, is go black and white...the grain looks so much more natural like old HIGH ISO film.

I totally agree there's the B/W option. Those images really show "real life" render with the track lights illuminating the track and parasitic light falling off onto the grounds. The grounds have almost no lighting.

The noise grain is quite nice with the Sony. I do find sometimes people will use black and white for events to be used as a crutch to hide RAW files that have fallen apart. In some cases I think B/W is perfect for some situations.

Those images were one of the last photos of the night. I should have used lower shutter speed and dropped the iso but at that point I was simply happy to capture anything :)

My comment wasnt really about salvaging bad files...hope it didn't come across that way...was just mentioning something I like to do with the high ISO files...they look good converted.

The only real wild flower image I got while I was in MRNP. I was a good 10 days late for the real bloom...might have to plan a return trip to spend more time there for it.
Two image focus stack...can't really tell on the web, but it made a big difference in the full size image.
