The beauty of redundancy :) I wouldn't stress using a 128gb card...

I don't ever carry spares, keeps things simple.

I would love to shoot with 512GB cards..... I could do an entire vacation without the need to offload.

Late to the party realization on the Riv....call me slow.
If I pop the 24/1.4 onto the 6400 it is still 1.4, and if I put it on the
Riv and pop into aps-c it is then 36/1.4=sudden gain of a fast 35mm.

Like I'll use it often but good for me to remember.

The video that convinced me to get the a7r4.

Even the videos shot with this camera are amazing to me.

And, you only live once!

Oh, I will probably sell my a7r2 so that batteries are compatible between my r3 and the new r4. My r2 does have the 'smooth reflection' and 'time-lapse' apps if anyone here might be interested.

Congrats!! :-D

I'm happy with the first impressions of the new backpack. Certainly better than the Manfrotto! So my next bit of gear I'm going to be looking into is a light weight tripod. I need to weigh mine too really to compare...!

And your like me with a big PC...no issues moving the files around.

Congrats Gene! I need to ask. You didn’t use B&H Payboo card? It is supposed to help pay taxes on your behalf. I applied and have one but just didn’t make any new purchases yet. I think CA was covered...

Thanks Joon. I hadn't even heard about this card before. I will definitely check it out for future purchases.

Unless you're filling up cards in the middle of whatever you're shooting because of changing cards.

A7rIII can chomp through an entire 128gb SD card for a wedding.

Storing files that big would be annoying in the long term but I’m sure worth it haha

Yes it is a beautiful thing :p the only time I ever full my 32GB cards is on holidays, otherwise I always empty and format the card after each use.

Gene I'm going to call Mark Smith a friend. I frequently write him comparing notes on a9 vs. a7Riv D850, D500 etc.
He is my #1 favorite reviewer of bodies/lenses for BIF and not because of his technical skill but the way he narrates
his videos, just a joy to watch.

Wow, I think it's safe to say the Tamron 28-75mm is more popular than the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art these days.

It took me weeks to sell the Sigma but the Tamron was sold within 12 hours for the price I wanted :D
