Always I've been curious if Samsung uses Sony sensors.....
Installed the PhoneInfo app from the store. So I'd think images from at least this phone
are legit on this forum :)

Gene I'm going to call Mark Smith a friend. I frequently write him comparing notes on a9 vs. a7Riv D850, D500 etc.
He is my #1 favorite reviewer of bodies/lenses for BIF and not because of his technical skill but the way he narrates
his videos, just a joy to watch.

I had no idea you knew him. The video of his I posted is the first of his I've seen. I'd love to read how he has his r4 set up for AF.

I'll be checking out more of his videos in the future.

Mark does an a9 setup he really goes into it, great to watch ,I would think it will be very similar for his a7r4

My first shots A7r4 and 200/600 quit a bit to learn on the focus but pleased so far.

I thought that the 7r4 had the capability of having settings that could be downloaded to the cards which I "thought" would mean like the old Canon 1ds you could share file settings with other users but I dont see anyone doing that.

Am I being and idiot?

Late to the party realization on the Riv....call me slow.
If I pop the 24/1.4 onto the 6400 it is still 1.4, and if I put it on the
Riv and pop into aps-c it is then 36/1.4=sudden gain of a fast 35mm.

Like I'll use it often but good for me to remember.

I’m really tired right now but is it not the same on both I.e 36/1.4 on the 6400 or the crop mode 7r4?
