Great series. Great people removal too. So much better without them.

Thank you Robert. I prefer my architecture shots without them but sometimes include one or two for context and/or scale.

The colours are kicking in big time now in our area but they are very subdued compared to other years, I think we just haven't had enough cold night to really kick them up a notch. Depending on the year sometimes they can be really nice.

Not only are the bird photos great, but so has been the perches in the scenes lately. I wish I had some of them here...and the space to use them properly. ;-)a

A little sibling rivalry between sister cars....for me the hardest shot is the 3/4 approaching pan...my favorite cars though...do they ever sound wonderful at full song.

I like them both for different reasons...the tighter portrait version invites you into the scene a bit more.

navydoc wrote in post #18944400 (external link)
Yes, I do too.

Thanks for the input guys. I quite often take a few variations now of the same scene. Makes it more of a set of images.

So in Lake Clark Nat. Park I'd keep the 200-600mm on one body, usually the a9 and the 70-300mm on
the Riii and every now and then switching bodies. A lesson learned in s.Africa that critters can suddenly get close.
Here's one from the 70-300mm on the a9 when this wee one came out of nowhere through the weeds.
I love the 70-300 range, have ever since my Canon days. First of december the E 70-300 will join the FE 70-300mm

you probably are not far off on the cost of them...I think they are a bit north of $1M....that shot might be one of my favorites from the weekend...hard to say still...I have so many more to look through. I have not even culled them all yet...shot just under 9K for the 2 days...
