Headed out for the Perseids Meteor Shower last night. Initial destination was Glencoe but found clouds when we got there quickly followed by torrential rain. This ones a bit noisy but the rain came on too hard before I managed to shoot a longer exposure at a lower ISO so this is all I got. This was the test shot to check framing etc (couldnt see what we were getting on the LCD due to the darkness so normally take a few test shots and check and reframe each time)

I thought I recognised the shape of that peak even before I read your description. I love this moody shot.

That is like a scene from an old dramatic movie. What great feeling it conveys. Tones are wonderful as is the sense of depth. It is an inspiring-to-me shot Lee.

Powerful, foreboding. Def. makes me want to know what is going on on the other side of the knoll.

Sharp. Love the crisp-clean clarity of the rendering.

I'm almost 100% decided to get the Loxia 35mm.

Thank you David. That's great about the Loxia 35. I'll probably do the same later this year. There was one in great shape posted on FM for $900. I haven't checked to see if it sold.

Out on a hike last week. While taking a break for a photo or two I turned around only to discover this little guy helping himself to my snacks!

Whew starting to sell stuff.

Sold a legacy lens and the Samyang 24 TSE and the LAEA3 adapter.

really surprised the 70-300 and 150-600 havent gone yet.

I am pretty committed after clearing the shelf of lenses to cover the 100-400 that I will sell the Infra Red 6000 and the 6500 and convince the wife to let me have the A9.

Soooooo close to really feeling like I am focusing
