And more progress on the new splash rig. Flash controller and 'brain' on both sides now, the where we sit side. Formica on the way from home depot for the table top, need
to get some contact cement-

I'm glad kids are tougher than we are. Happy for you and family all is good.

Thank you Robert. Yeah they are tough at this age.

While it's always gutwrenching when it happens, kids are tough when the occasion rises.

hope all is well, those machines are scary, and having your kid go through one is TOUGH to watch

Thanks Charlie. He is doing better this morning. Got up early and ate some food and was talking and laughing. Missed his laugh and big smile.

Couldn't sleep much last night so I edited this one. I want to revisit this place and shoot it after snowfall.

Thanks David. He suffered a concussion. Will keep an eye on him while he stays at home the next few days. Poor kid.

sorry to hear that Alfredo...I hope he heals soon and fully!

As irrational as it is...my day typically has a bit of anxiety that I will get a similar call...my kid is so rambunctious, and a bit of a daredevil...always worried that we will get that call that she has gotten hurt...she falls all the time...has a giant baseball sized bruise on her knee right now from a fall on the playground this week...

lol thanks. I'm happy having it. Ive always told myself Id get a dslr again someday. this costed $340 so I can afford to keep it without feeling the need to use it much. Ive had this before and liked it but sold it to make funds for the d800e. The best part is this only had 112 actuations! original plan was to get it to replace my friends d60, something wrong with the focus.. pictures not focusing and coming off blurry. Well I ended up wanting to keep it for myself haha and I found another good low mileage body for them with 770 clicks at $255. My future arsenal would be the d850, but Im sure there will be a successor by the time I'm ready to own one.

what? aside from the d500, what did you pick up??

Thanks guys. He is doing well today. Yeah Travis that sounds like my son. He likes to climb and explore. Just have to pray for his overall safety.

Saw that a Bosque last winter. One little dinky eagle flies over and multi thousands take off. quite a site to see.

Well in their defense, I wouldn't want to be the goose caught napping when a predator is hungry ;-)a

Hey Robert...did you know that there are Bald Eagles in Townsend, TN....I did not...but a friend did, and photographed one of them this past weekend...the one he saw was a juvenile, maybe 3 years old. I had no idea there were any around there...
