Dark, dank, cold (36F) but above freezing. Still waked today for my steps/calories and found this guy waiting back home.
Riv+300mm Nikon PF (really could use F2.8 here).

Beautiful. I can just imagine a stagecoach rounding the bend in the distance and maybe a highwayman popping up from behind one of the rocks on the right.

Thanks Gene!

I like this lens !

Yep, me too! I've been using the FE 16-35 GM a lot for landscapes but that's really only because I'm new to the area and need to work fast with the light given. I prefer the Loxia 21 prime for landscapes.

Haha, not soft at all Robert. There is about a 30 foot drop to the right into a small canyon too.

I like it for cityscapes and buildings.

I know Gene is enticing the idea of tempting his western Jay's with peanuts and thought of him
when this porker flew off with 3 peanuts (1 in the throat).

Yesterday I borrowed a strobe from Cory and drove a couple of miles up the road to my friend's house to take photos of them and their animals. First time using two strobes and I feel like these came out pretty good, especially since I was herding animals the entire time. This worked better than I expected.

Beautiful dogs too and I can see why you had your hands full with the livestock.

Seen on my neighbor's patio table earlier today. I've never heard of this brand before but then, I don't do hot.

600mm on a monopod. :-)

One day in WDW down. So far so good.

Eddie, I think I'm staying in the resort you stayed earlier this year. I recognize the pool.
