My wife was patient enough to let me pull out the strobe and take a few photos this evening.

Nice dude!

I have a Surface Book 2 and it is a beast of a laptop, but it is heavy and a bit bulky. For travel I prefer the regular Surface, or the Surface Laptop. Both are quick light and slim. I am lucky to have all of them as I test out computer equipment for my work. I prefer the Surface laptop as it has a very workable keyboard. The Surface flippy keyboard is nice for its size but is not great for any extensive typing. Mike

Nov 30, 2019 21:32 | #35316 After many unsucessful attempts to mask and change a sky I thought I would have a look at the new Luminar software, especially the skyswap. navydoc Cream of the Crop More info | Nov 30, 2019 22:30 | #35317 Occasionally, I like using the Anthropics LandscapePro plugin to replace sky. It comes with many types of sky backgrounds and like Luminar appears to be, is 'smart' enough to change the tone/contrast of the rest of the image to match the light from the selected sky. You can also use your own sky image as the replacement. It can also change the reflections in water to match the sky although I struggle with that aspect of it. If anyone might be interested, I would recommend the 'Studio' version so that it works as a plugin with Photoshop and RAW images can be edited with it. Otherwise, it works on jpgs only. The portrait enhancer is also easy to use and for guys like me (not a professional) it is worth it. Below is a photo I posted a few weeks ago with a blown out sky followed by a version with a new sky. The hardest part in all of this is deciding which sky to use.
