already blew my load :-P

there's a fantastic trade in deal with a $200 bonus on top of the lens or ILC camera trade in. I have an inexpensive old digital lens I can get rid of, worth nothing at this point, so that's a win for me. 200 off a hard to get GM is a great deal.

Congrats! Even though I have the 35mm f/1.8 I am still tempted by this lens!

Been looking to treat myself to a new lens but not sure what to get. I’m leaning towards the SIGMA 35MM 1.2 ART DG DN for its rendering. Would love to use it around downtown Denver. For those that own it, would you still recommend it? I’m also thinking about the Sony 85 or maybe the 135 GM.

Yeah I'm really digging it. I've been using macbook pro's for 15 years and waited patiently for a touch screen macbook pro for post processing workflows but it hasn't happened. I've been following the iPad Pro enhancements and the development of photoshop for iOS but it involves too many compromises for me.

It depends on what you're going for though. Windows is a bit 'busy' for a tablet OS, and the iPad's interface is better suited for mobile use. That said, the surface devices have a proper file system, have ports for SD cards and hard drives, and can run full fledged photography software so they are better workhorse devices.

Thanks for the feedback. The surface pro does what I want an iPad to do. Slowly I have been migrating my computer work back to windows from Apple. The iPad is the last of my transition. So it’s good to seen the feedback from surface pro users.

Thank you. It's a single exposure. Sony sensors are pretty amazing.

Appreciate it. Starting to feel better but now our 6 year old is feeling sick. We are expecting lots of snow tomorrow so not much chance to get out to shoot. Expect more images from my backlog.

So no one has the Sigma 35 f1.2? Looks like a stellar lens. I think I will get it.
