Really getting good stuff with th Sigma Alfredo...that light is beautiful. The closest tip on the left looks molten hot. Really really cool.

Thank you! I have been happy with the Sigma although hiking with it and my 100-400 made my pack a bit heavy. I’m finding 35mm just about right for many landscape shots.

I must have accidentally changed something in my settings and can' figure out what I did. I had the camera set to the rear dial was changing the shutter speed interdependently from everything else and the front dial was set to change the aperture. Now when I move the rear dial the aperture and SS are moving at the same time which is what I don't want. It's been driving me crazy and I can't figure out what I did that changed the rear and front dials. Any ideas? I know it's a simple solution but I can't figure it out Thanks.

Maybe you had it in manual before and now it’s in A or S mode with is AV/TV? Is the top dial still on M?

Dan, no other modes ever. Always in manual. I wouldn't even know how to shoot in AV or whatever.
.
I really think it's a glitch of sorts. It's happened before and I also had some strange issues before, too. The LCD screen going completely black in the middle of a wedding. But it's all good e. Took the battery out and it all went back to normal.

That’s so strange, never had anything like that happen to me before. Well the LCD going completely black for a bit until I restarted it but that’s it. Good to hear it’s back to normal now, almost sounds like the camera got confused what mode it was in and was acting like aperture priority and not Manual.

That is very odd. I can't think of one setting that would make the wheel control both aperture and shutter unless you were in Aperture or Shutter priority.

Thanks! You posted a great shot for your first sunrise of 2020. Great light.

Oh yes, we should have a POTN meetup around my area. Lots of locations to shoot.

Here are a few more that I haven't posted here yet.

I knew I had to call into here with the weather conditions we had...... Really, I should have went more to the left & cropped out the gates but that was thick mud & I couldn't be bothered to put my hiking boots back on again...... But it's okay. I do like the overlapping hills & low cloud in the distance on the left.

Oh, tweaked signature too ;)

EDIT - Hmmmmmmm....... I think the text is a little too big for my liking...

As I said, I wasn't i A or S, always in M. Updated firmware to 3.10 and it seems fine. Let's hope it stays that way.
