there are three main places to stay inside the park if you are not camping or in an RV...there is a small motel in Stovepipe Wells, very close to Mesquite Dunes. And there are two hotels, one nicer than the other in Furnace Creek. We stay at the less expensive one in Furnace Creek...it is 10 minutes to Zabriskie, 30 to Badwater, 30 to Mesquite....has a restaurant and general store...easy location to base out of...

I only have vinegar on chips/fries :) With salt!! :) I only really have salt on chips & egg too in general. Salad cream on salad (obviously) & mashed potato :) My girlfriends daughter puts salad cream on virtually EVERYTHING! :-D

Grated cheese and salad creme sandwich mixed together :) can't beat it lol

About 90% of my PC components arrived today for my new editing build. It’s like Christmas :D

For this build I’m using M.2 PCIE SSDs which allow a faster transfer rate than sata ssds. I bought 2x 1TB drives. Anyone else using M.2 drives? I’m excited to see how quick they are

Edit - I’ll get it back on topic soon with some photos once I’m up and running!

I’ve got one NVME, but I think my MB only allows for one? Wish I could use more.
On topic of DR, the editor is slick and so simple to use, however it didn’t auto save, so when it crashed on me, I lost a chunk of work..... had to go in and make that settings change after the fact. Some quirkiness about setting the frame rate on your timeline, has to be done at the beginning, OR scrap the entire project if you mess up and find it later.... other than that, I sort of like the cut tool, it’s really easy to slice up clips, but missing some crucial shortcuts that exist on the editor tab...... not sure why they do this... it would be so much faster as the layout is terrific.
