You don't want to see bread that I cut......!! :-D

Give me some oxyacetylene & some 15mm plate though & I'll make it perfect ;)

But 15mm plate does not make very good sandwiches, the bacon will slide off it !

more Death Valley. More Sand dunes...sorry. Focus blended from two images, in hindsight it should have been 3. But I still liked it. I really liked having the 24-70...I like the rendering, it reminds me more of the 16-35 than the 70-200 in how it handles color and shadow...it was nice to put a lens on all 3 and just head out and not do any swaps in the field.

Downtown Boise/State Capital building 03-20-2020. 3:45 on a Friday afternoon. It's getting quiet out there.

After shutting down my work computer at 3 sharp this afternoon, I realized I hadn't set foot outside all week, so I poured myself a drink and went out to the backyard to enjoy the spring sunshine and breeze. Smokey came out of the wilds of my yard and joined me on the patio and had a nice stretch and roll. It was a nice way to end a totally bizarre week. :-)

It was a gorgeous day up here in the Sonoma wine country. I spent most of the day outside pruning oak trees and clearing brush for the 2020 fire season. I should have grabbed the camera, we had some amazing cloud formations float through.

It looked beautiful outside in the evening yesterday and today.

I took some time off from editing and am behind on the posts in this thread. Been working from home this past week and this will continue for some time I think. Hope everyone is safe.

Not much else to do today while staying away from everyone so I figured I'd pull out the strobe and get a little practice in. It's always good to keep these skills going because (for me) it's easy to forget how to use all this equipment if I go too long.

Nice dude...I was riding in the foothills earlier. Guess what...everyone, and I mean everyone, was out there also! I seriously felt like I couldn't effectively socially distance myself as I was passing people on every turn. I cut my ride short and decided to stay home and practice my planking in the backyard! :-P

The number of people I've seen walking up the trails behind my house the last two days is off the hook. We went out to surprise valley to get away from people and it worked. After the hike we drove into the Home Depot parking lot and there were so many people there we bailed on going in. Home projects can wait.
