i agree. A joystick please. they call the A6600 an APS-C flagship and don't have a simple joystick. every flagship i know have joystick like the Canon 7D.

Yeah, I would say: a joystick, a front wheel for shutter speed, and a centered EVF (please no more rangefinder-type crap!). I so hate that design.

The wife of a friend of mine was learning how to cast objects in resin and wanted to collect bottle caps to make coasters. I happened to notice that some Heineken beer bottles had different caps, they were reversed. So, over time, I collected both and suggested she make two different patterns with them.

Here's what she came up with using the pattern I suggested. These were made while she was still learning so the degree of clarity of the resin varied considerably. I like them for my patio table.

Today we drove about 15 miles out of town and hiked 2000 feet up and definitely got away from people. I'm ready to go back.

Raided the fridge and pantry and came up with what I jokingly called "Shelter in place soup". Chorizo, cabbage and white beans are the main stars and it went very well with a nice chilled Rosé. (Plus with a nice big dutch oven full of soup, I am good for a few days.)
Quick handheld snap with the R4 and 24-105.

Personally 43mp in a camera, especially a crop one, almost worries me. Seems to me that would just make it harder to handhold and get consistently good results.

What I'm really hoping for is that Sony goes for a completely new design for their crop cameras than what we currently have, go more in the direction of the Nikon Z50 or Canon M50.

My first DSLR was crop 6mp. I now have a 32.5mp crop. More than 5 times the pixels of my first. It's just better, nothing to worry about.

I like chorizo and cabbage soup. I ordered some chorizo from Costco today, hoping it gets delivered.

I had a 20 minute standoff with one of the hawks today...I think it is the female given the size difference. When I first saw her she was down in my yard trying to get in one of the chipmunk holes. She flew up into this branch, and sat for 20 minutes. We were almost eye to eye on height...she finally took off...first time I have caught that...the sequence was pretty darn cool to see in playback.

Just sitting there...waiting on me to go away...eye to eye...the camera was level on both axis...big slope to our yard.

Both in crop mode on the a9 and then cropped a good bit...the light was getting dim and the 2x would have made the shutter speeds low or the ISO high...I need a 400 2.8 LOL!

Due tell, as I never researched either. Whats so good about Nikon Z50 or Canon M50 than to offer more mpx & reach for crop ability in sports and wildlife shooting.

Joe I've got a Z50. For me the ergonomics are very nice/more dials, and I don't like rangefinder style camera.. Other than that the a6400 wins on AF-C/AF-C tracking. IQ is great with either in my eye.
I don't do video so can't comment either way on that.

Who would complain on that hummingbird capture!
The Harris Hawk is also 10 star.
On the Vulture, I don't even have a good capture of one of them :(

No social distancing for me here in the hospital. We do have our temperature taken when we walk in :)

Work in-box super saturated with directives. More than I can read.

Work imposed travel restrictions. If I go anywhere out of our 'region' I have to be tested before returning to work
and wear a mask while at work. I have to apply to corporate for permission to travel out of our 'region'.

While working I see the diagnosis on the computer screen, the key words are 'droplet/isolation/respiratory failure acute/community acquired pneumonia'.
In my immediate area the rate of COVID admissions are doubling every 2.5 days.

Fuji X-T4 preordered :)

And still enjoying the EOS 400mm F5.6 on the Riv
