mystik610 wrote in post #19038777 Sorry to hear that Travis. Hopefully things turn around quickly on the job front.
Thanks man. It has certainly added to my stress and anxiety...it has not helped the ADD either...so I am gonna get the cameras out even more now...taking all of next week off since it was supposed to be Spring Break. The boss was ok with that...lol.

I imagine a lot of folks are putting on weight now, I have sit down meals with my kids now, and that's a lot of eating.......

Beachbody (makers of p90x, insanity, etc) has a streaming app now. I've been doing their workouts at home for the past couple of weeks. They're solid workouts.

I’ve attempted insanity in the past, very hard but effective. Is it a subscription app?

Yeah its $39 USD for 3 months.
It's not so much that they are necessarily harder than a typical workout, but that the workouts are different from what most of us do in the gym. Just like anything else though, once you get conditioned to them, they become routine. I went through the full p90x and insanity programs 10+ years ago...dropped 30 pounds and have kept most of it off. I haven't done a full program since, but there are a few insanity workouts that I've kept in my insanity regimen as a weekend cardio. I also do the p90x yoga routines off and on.
I'm liking the newer insanity and p90x workouts. They're a lot more efficient than the older ones that had rest/warmup/cool-down periods that were a bit too long.

TRhoads wrote in post #19038489 We should do that...we are all about to be shut ins...I found out today that my one project in design and production just got canned...so I am essentially out of work...still employed but not much to do. My other project is under construction and is not a full time job.
Sigh, When I had my consulting company back in 2009 I had 2 projects guys were like dude we're ok got good private financing no problem we need you.... then in a 2 week period both canned the projects and well that was the crash and it took a lot from us..... When the world came back I was doing good and then in 2014 both my clients said we want you in house or your contracts are done. I went in house with the Non Profit......one of the things the guy who was the VP at the time told me... "in a downturn we dont let people go"..... fast forward he is now the CEO.... and well his new statement is "how do we keep the lights on".... this from a company that has 1100 days of cash on hand. I had to put on hold all but one of our permitted jobs. I have 300 acres in a zoning case with 28m in funded bonds for projects within that, so I am on the "get it to permit" state. Meanwhile I am trying to convert the old Hotel I worked on to a medically secured building so that our Hospital partner and our medical staff can stay there vs going home if they start to treat patients.
Odd times in the construction world we have such a backlog of projects and so much pricing and labor pressure this should be a breather but then I hear about more infrastructure stimulus...... I dont want more inflationary debt and to come out of this with more pressure on materials and construction labor.
Still 1st world problems so I should just complain about how I cant afford the 200-600 which is a real problem this forum can get behind

LOL!!!
I’m so far behind that I not only need a 200-600mm, but need a new a7R IV body for it too (and a new set of 5 8TB drives to go with it).

The inflationary debt is in the long-term risk. But the short term risk is what happens if the middle class collapses. What we've learned real fast is that the economy as a whole cannot function unless the middle class workers, who make up the bulk of the consumption, are financially healthy. If the middle class financially fails, it will trigger a set of financial events that will pull the entire economy into the great depression again. So we have to incur this debt to avoid catastrophe.
But can't keep kicking the debt can down the road like we did in 2008. Once we emerge from our lockdowns like bears coming out hibernation, we will need to have a come to jesus about stabilizing the currencies and paying down all this debt....and need to be honest about how that debt load should be distributed.

love those kinds of workouts, but the kids wont let up on me these days, so it's impossible. My living room is large enough to walk in circles, I measured 60 feet, so I do 125 laps with my kids, equivalent to 1.42 miles/2.28 km

Tamron 70-130 F2? If the rendering is on point, I'd be game!
Damn............... the 70-180 rendering looks to be fine, there's a german channel that does the reviews and it look good, not busy.
however, 70-130 f2.... would be a killer portrait lens.
if they can keep the weight similar to typical 70-200's, I think I'd rather have the limited range, but in all likelihood, I'd pass, cant stand the weight of 70-200's

UGHHHH that would mess with everything. I would end up with a bag of Tamrons who would have thought.
