how are you liking it? A local guy has one, and either it is his operation, editing or the lens, but his images all lack some sharpness, in the critical areas.
I can't speak for landscape usage, but eyes have the tack sharp separation I want out of a portrait lens so I'm happy with it. Was expecting this lens to be a bit of a compromise, but it renders nicely and is sharp so I'm happy with it. It does render a little on the flat side...one of the few lenses I've used in a while where I felt the need to move the contrast and clarity sliders

count yourself lucky...my 9 year old is not oblivious...in fact she is all too aware and observant and is having a hard time with COVID and a bunch of other things that IMO 9 year old kids should not have to think about...and it means that we have a lot of conversations that shouldn't happen yet...
Sorry to hear that. My younger kids are just in that oblivious age and my eldest just always tends to be content with whatever he's dealing with. Not always a good thing, but he's been locked up at home and we pulled him out of his school. Doesn't seem to bother him.
But yes I do know a lot of my friends' kids are having a tough time and are acting out at home. Plus the anxiety of facing their first real crisis can be tough...innocence and sense of security are rattled for sure and I feel bad for kids having to cope with all of this. I'm hoping that this will be resolved sooner than later, but it feels like the societal impacts will persist even after the virus is under control and it will be the life event that defines the formative years of these kids.
