Just realised updating photoshop CC to the latest version has stopped my Nik collection working. Anyone else had issues?

EDIT - Found the issue. The image I was editing was "greyscale" and it seems Nik only works with RGB colour

Gene, finally got round to doing this. My CPU Score was 11721 but my graphics score was only 4461 which has brought the overall score down. I was expecting that though as I didnt build the PC for gaming and the GPU isnt a high end gaming one. The purpose of the PC build for me was to be a beast editor for photos and video, both of which dont require a high end GPU

Interesting scores Eddie, thanks for sharing. I wanted a higher graphics card specifically for editing photos and videos, especially for rendering video. Sony Vegas Pro takes advantage of intel 'Cuda cores' for faster rendering of video.

According to Adobe, "Camera Raw can use a compatible graphics processor (also called a video adapter, video card, or GPU) to speed up several operations." Here's a link for more info about this.

That’s interesting, wish I had realised that earlier ! :) . Might have been better getting a better graphics card then, ah well

Boy, that looks refreshing. The 'sand' there sure looks different than what I'm used to seeing. :-)

If you don't edit video much, I doubt you'll be lacking anything in the way of speed.

There's only a few beaches along this part of the coastline that are actual sand. Sand is a pain especially with any wind. But then it's more comfortable to walk on barefoot than pebbles!!

I edit video a lot, part of the reason I built the PC was because my macbook couldnt handle editing 4k. The PC handles it fine though so I wont worry too much about it

I hardly ever get a trip 'done'. Here's one from the Florida trip this past winter. I'm still have more Alaska images from this past trip and even my first time
there for white bears quite a while ago.

Anyone else back burner stuff forever and forever?
