I totally misread your post. Oh yeah I don’t know about the narrower focal length versions. Now I’m curious.

No worries. I would have liked to have 40mm or so today...12 is soooooo dang wide your feet show up...

But...I might have captured one of my Top 5 all time images today...

Anyone need a Voigtlander Nikton 40mm 1.2?
I've use it twice in 2 years. It languishes.
Perfect condition of course having worn a B+W filter.
Just asking here before it hits FM.

And a shot from the yard up here at Ripshin.

Need some advice from folks who own BenQ monitors. I just got the SW2700PT and notice that reds are much stronger in aRGB. In sRGB, it looks ok. I am on Win7.

I have a BenQ monitor but haven’t noticed this issue. Have you calibrated?

Edit - posted this before I read your other post. I suggest you calibrate, once I done mine everything looks great

I don't really shoot sunstar scenes, but I have seen them.

I wish the CV40 had AF! I love the 24GM but im realising its probably a tad wide for what Im trying to use it for. Trying to decide what to do about it. I wish there was a 35GM or 50GM available or a 28GM!.

I’ve considered picking up the FE55 again but the contrast has a different look than my other GM lenses

Ok, will do so. But I was reading a message fro a co-worker on our internal forum and it seems aRGB does have stronger reds which don't show up in the sRGB. If you look at the link that I posted from benQ you will see what I am talking. In my case those reds are quite a bit higher.

Eddie - I saw an old post from you where you were having issues with your monitor and it being set to 59Hz. Well my Win& also was using 59, changed to 60Hz and things look better now. The 2700PT supports aRGB and from what I read aRGB will indeed show more reds compared to sRGB. I will buy a new calibration kit, just need to decide which one.

Recommendations between xrite i1 Pro or Studio.? The studio is $150, Pro is $250. Not sure what the main differences are. Will be using for BenQ 2700.

Quick silly question time.....

I have come across an 'older' legacy macro lens at 100mm that focuses down to 0.44m

My Contax zoom at 200mm does 1m

Does the math work methodically in that the macro would effectively work out at 200mm and 0.88m from a comparison framing pov?

I can’t remember how I sorted mine now but it’s on 60 and HDR mode and seems to be accurate

I had to like that post Eddie. Not because you failed to answer my query, but because you still have a hangover at 7:30 in the evening ;)
