Beautiful shot!

Planning to go out on New Year’s Day for sunrise. This year has been the least amount of landscape photos I’ve taken since starting photography due to Covid and separating etc so aiming to try and turn things around in the coming year and try and get the bug back.

Anyone else got any New Years resolutions of sorts?

Resolution Number 1 is to get out more and shoot more. 2020 has also been my lowest amount of images taken.
Resolution Number 2 is to improve my BIF shooting. I have no excuses now with the A9 and the 200-600.

Was out yesterday at a nearby park. The BIF shots were a bust, but this little guy was nice enough to pose for me. Too bad it was on a barbed wire fence post.

Golden hour --> Sunset in the North GA Mountains. Same location as the Tacoma picture I just posted, but about 30 minutes earlier.

Here's a quick demo of the amount of steam available through my new iron, a Laurastar Lift +. :-)

The Swiss made Laurastar Lift + has 50 psi of dry steam pressure that irons, steams, and purifies. 99.9% of Coronavirus, bacteria, fungi, mites, as well as odors, are effectively eliminated.

Filmed using my Sony ZV-1.

I'm not allowed to touch the iron in my house...but back a few decades I was pretty good at ironing out the wrinkles of my dress whites before an inspection.

We learned quickly in the Navy how to take care of our uniforms. When I was stationed at Pearl Harbor, we even had our own steam press in the barracks. Of course, the uniform of the day all year 'round in Hawaii was dress whites.
