Just got an email from Fuji to offer free 2 day hire of any gear (can be extended at a cost). They deliver to your door and collect again from your door. Decided to try the x100v to see how it feels compared to my previous x100F. They will deliver it on Friday 12th feb then my 2 days is counted as sat and sun then they collect it on the Monday again. All I do is pay a deposit and it’s refunded at the end.

Would be handy if Sony offered that too to allow lenses and bodies to be tried out

Yeah

It's a good way of extending the lengthof the grip but not really useful for me. I much rather have a full length L-plate, it's what I have always used on my cameras for years. I have been shooting with the AR3 but will be picking up the new A1 when it's released in early March. I've been hunting for a bracket for the new camera but it seems to be out of stock at B&H even RRS doesn't have stock at the moment, the A1 uses the same L-bracket as the R4 and 9II.

Pro Media Gear have the L plate.

I’m not sure if it’s available here but I only have one body so don’t qualify anyway

I'm sorry to hear that Jose! It's so hard when that happens. They become such a big part of the family. Thank you.

They really do become part of the family. Jill looks like she is just a bunch of fun! Love them when they are at that age and every little thing for them is a new discovery.

You have to provide copies of invoices, to prove you are a Pro

I didn't have to here in the US, just provided all the Serial Numbers...and most of my gear is second hand...the a9 and 85GM being the only two Sony bits that I bought new. Zeiss lenses don't count...I need to send the A7r2 to have the battery door replaced.

I got out to shoot sunrise this morning...spent the morning being frustrated. Between forgetting my headlamp, being down a ball head and the odd light and conditions...but I managed a few shots I liked.

Nice image Travis. Good to be out.

I went out early this morning as there was a forecast of fog.... No. No fog. Tried that tree by the big pond again, walked the woods quickly. Like you, I think I've got a few but nothing too outstanding!

Yeah as I walked back to the car I said out loud to myself...nothing portfolio worthy but I was glad I got out.

I asked at the photography show 2 years ago, with the people who run it, it seems to be a europe thing.
