Lee, thought you might be interested in this. Would work for non-car photography too. Interesting way to use the LR filters and also made me realise there is more functionality to them that I wasnt even aware of. Could be used for landscapes too.

Thanks for sharing the vid Eddie. I use radial and GND filters often in ACR and use luminosity blend modes occasionally (ie: Add a b&w layer or hue/saturation layer in luminosity blend mode) in PS but haven't played with the Range Mask in luminosity or color modes much. I have for darkening the sky without affecting objects like trees or buildings but that's about it. I always like learning about new ways to use the tools available in PS (I don't use LR).

It’s nuts hearing about the power issues and snow out in Texas. Stay warm. We were -5 yesterday.

I can't imagine what that feels like Alfredo. What we have right now is already intolerable lol.

Power issues are a problem. A lot of people went all of yesterday without power.

At least they have the clothes for that kind of weather. Looks like they're having a lot of fun.

We were digging through old boxes of clothes like it was a goodwill bin to find warm weather clothes hah but we made it work.

More snow shots. The snow has officially gotten hard and nasty so the next time I shoot something like this at home will probably be in 10+ years

Went again to Yountville (home of the French Laundry restaurant in the Napa Valley) yesterday. The weather was all gloomy with drizzle but I was thinking about Travis's last youtube and kept driving, saying at worst I will come back. As we reach there, weather turned out pretty good. Found this little spot closer to the highway and kids enjoyed their lunch while I took some shots.

Nice one! I love this time of year when the mustard starts blooming in the vineyards. I also love going to Yountville and getting some fried chicken from Addendum (another Thomas Keller operation that is part of Ad Hoc) and heading out behind the town for some photo ops.

My friend is back for another breeding season. Looks like he has some serious nest building to do, as the recent storm apparently blew the entire old one away. No sign of his mate yet, but I expect her any day now, along with the dozens of other nesting pairs that return here every year.

Their fried chicken is amazing. We're over there at least once a month for take out.

Mustard bloom is out in full force up in Alexander Valley too.

Here are a few from our last walk ( just for a change  ) At least the weather has turned a bit here, making it more inviting to go out.

The first two are with the 55mm, the first of a local woodland area to us, which has been amazing during lockdown. The second from the same area, the 55mm bokeh has had a little help! ;-)a

And the last is the laziest photo ever. Early in the morning, spotted a nice sunrise. Had the 28-75mm on the camera, opened the lounge window, stuck the camera on a beanbag, and eked out the longest shutter I could in camera, to get some softness in the sky. My full set of filters were right behind me, but I couldn't be bothered, hence the f22! Still looks ok in fairness!
