Took my dads dog a walk earlier to test the tracking on my a9ii, can’t believe how well it works! Eye af with the kids is much better too than my a7riii. Going to have to turn it off H and onto M or L cos I’m ending up with too many similar shots in focus on the memory card

I seem to remember Charlie saying he rates the images in camera then only imports the rated ones to avoid heavy culling in light room. Going to have to read the manual and work out how to do that

Have you found out, that you can connect the A9 ii to the computer with FTP. So if you are shooting the kids indoors close to the computer, it will up load the photos as you take them.

I saw it had FTP, haven’t worked out how to use it yet though I’ll look into that, thanks

I use Filezilla as the server on the PC, you can get a free download.

Went an hour east to the central valley town of Modesto to see these almond trees blossom. I am not sure if I am late to this or a bit early as I only found very few trees with blossoms.

If you have a wifi portable hardrive like the WD wireless, you can backup directly to that too.

did some video work today with the a7sii , first time using the new to the a7s iii S-cinetone profile.. loving it!

might be a bit over cooked, but i was in search of a certain look
