Plus it seems to me as well that a lot of people don't really do any research on the gear before they try and buy from you, and so you have to end up having to explain about design flaws/focusing speeds/lens creep etc. vs potential copy issues that really should have been easy to find out about through a basic Internet. It's really aggravating. Plus I find organizing shipping to be a pain, since the post office (at least here in Canada) doesn't ever seem to have boxes that fit the lens I'm selling, leading to either 'postal waste' (shipping in a box that's way too big) and/or postal cost overruns... Just a pain.
I find you have to list absolutely every detail about the lens/item!

Plus you run the risk of making the ultimate blunder like me and accidentally listing your Tamron 28-75 as the Tamron 17-28 (that I didn’t even own!) and posting it out to the buyer

Had to pay for return postage and relist on that occasion. Still not sure how I managed that
I remember that too! At least you can laugh about it now.
Well, I played it safe in my eyes and went for the Sony 20G in the end. There's a chance I may get it Friday depending on how it's posted so need to start thinking about the Samyang 24 & Voigtlander 21 now...... Oh, the star tracker arrived too today.
