Yes the Macro, I do have the other 105 bigg difference in size and weight

hehe indeed, not sure it's so impressive to be able to shoot for 2hr with the macro one lol. That one is on my buy list, the 1.4 not so much.

I think he means the Sigma 105 DG DN Macro, not the 1.4...

Ah, I saw 105 Art and immediately thought the 1.4

With the current lockdown in our city most of the Cherry Bloom locations were pretty much off limits this year so didn't get to shoot much. Quick close-up with the Sigma 105 Art, really like shooting with this lens.

Gotta get the half case for sure! Since it will be permanently welded to my 200-600mm I won’t have to bother with L-brackets, so I can go wild on the bling. Maybe I can get the iJustine signature-edition bedazzled half-case. :p :p

lol go out with a bling! gotta be seen. (just watch the intro when you get the chance :))

I like the LIM's half case I have on my X-100F, but I've never wanted one on any of my Canon or Sony bodies.

that LIM's case is pretty nice with the arca swiss mount. I've been looking into the fuji and been thinking if I should try them out. I really like the x100's, would like it if they had interchangeable lens and not just a fix.

my visits are always timed for shooting for a client, so I don't really get to pick...I wanted to go chase the fog on Thursday, but we had one more shoot to finish up and then Friday...no more fog.

yeah, or rocky cliffs and shoreline...

of course! Unlike Ben Horne....I don't sit on one shot for hours...HAHA!

not sure who Ben Horne is, but yeah... I'm the type that needs to take more than just 'the one' heheh. especially at the beach. wave's act differently and I like to try different shutter speeds for different results. sunrise and sunsets are quick and it casts a different scene as the sun changes into the horizon.

Well, this morning, I developed some 120 film shot in my Kodak Vigilant Six-16. The film was Ilford HP5 400 b&w developed with Cinestill Df96 in my Lab-Box. :-)

Now I'm just waiting for the negatives to dry so I can scan them. I got some Kodak Tri-X 400 as well as Kodak Portra 400 color film yesterday. I'm looking forward to trying both although I won't be getting the Cs41 chemicals for color until this Saturday.

Eventually, I'd like to shoot Positive 'slide' film with this camera. That takes a whole different combo of chemicals to develop and the latitude for proper exposure is very narrow. We shall see how that works out in the future.

Why, you ask? Just to see if I can. ;-)a

I’ve previously had a couple of LIM cases on various bodies and they are really great quality, up there with the Gariz half cases I’ve had

I've had two falls where my camera was basically saved by half cases. Hipster as they make you look, they do pad the camera in the right areas too.

Too busy knocking down the grass and weeds and making a fire break up by the road. Wildfire prevention time.

My L bracket saved one of my cameras once. I'm way too old to know what hipster is supposed to look like, but I do like the look of the LIM half case on my X-100F :-D
