I thought it's from an FE35 F1.4 at F5.6, went out to check mine at 5.6. then i came back here and saw on your sig you got the FE35F2.8.

I haven't purchased a nodal slide yet. I haven't had much opportunity for horizontal panos yet. I'll probably pickup one of the FLM slides.

I'm looking forward to seeing more urban shots from you. It's fun shooting early in the morning or late.

I'm looking at panorama equipment also. Why are you considering FLM? Are there other good choices?

From my research, your options are to either piece it together or get something as a kit. If you want to do multi row panos then I think the best option is the Really Right Stuff PG-01 gimbal. If you just need a nodal rail and a leveling base for single row panos, there are many options including FLM. I'm considering FLM because one of their rails is the right length for my loxia 21 lens and their rails are inexpensive. Not sure how they stack up in terms of quality over RRS though.

Ironically I just now posted my larger RRS PG-02 up for sale on FM. It was just TOO BIG, and TOO HEAVY for me. I might consider the smaller PG-01 (not likely), or the FLM ballhead - I like the capabilities on the FLM head.

The rubber cladding just delaminated off my a7R II's SD card door. I think my RRS plate had been compressing the rubber making the door rubber chafe against the body rubber. Now that the rubber is off my door, I'm glad of it: the door pops open and closed so much easier now. It doesn't look bad either without the rubber cladding.

I wanted to try this time blend and long exposure blend on a cityscape image. I merged an image for the sunset, then one for the light trails, and another for the building lights at blue hour. All shots were taken within an hour at the same location. This one looks much better at higher resolution on a big display.

Lots of talk about bags.
Before our long trip out west I added an Everyday Backpack 20L and 30L for Poof and I.
Each worked a charm on our trip.
Each could replace a Pelican which we both packed for the trip.
I know some have tried the Everyday and not liked, but for us it just works.

everyday bags are also a good option, not screaming - Im photo bag.
I personally don't like side loading

think about to get also a a7rii and use it with my 200/1.8

At first, I thought it might have looked even better if the sun rays were emanating from the center of the frame like the light trails do but on reflection, prefer the two distinct trails of light coming from different angles as captured...A Beautiful scene to be sure.

WOW...I might have to go shoot that spot this weekend, I have seen it there, but never realized there was a photo hole...likely made by a photographer!

ONly Sony shooter that I know of that has the 200 f/1.8 is Mike Reid. Not an everday lens, so finding a lot with a specific combo is going to be slim pickings, but I know he uses the two.
