Peak Design has an accessory for their Capture Clip called a Pro Pad. It is designed to provide extra support when attaching the clip to your belt. Well I hate hanging camera gear off my belt…it makes me feel like someone is trying to pull my pants down. So, I never used the Pro Pad until tonight when it occurred to me to put it on my bike handlebar. This worked out fantastic! I clipped my camera on and went for a great ride with the a7S III and FE 24mm GM hanging very securely from the handlebar. Here is the ProPad and Capture Clip in place…think I’ll just leave it there permanently.

Probably but one thing that you may need for BIF is the better AF system of the A7C. Tracking is way better which you may need for BIF as your backup?

lol I was very close into getting one. but now I must be patient and hope for a good a7c2. also looking at fuji. used the old a7r, as it is still a good camera, I'm spoiled by the new tech. and i hate the shutter on the old a7r. cla-clunk!

I might wait a bit before adding the A7C but I am on the verge.

Nice shot Lee, unusual to see a rapeseed field photo with a looming grey sky above it!

I went out for a wander tonight. On my way back I spotted this fairly close to my house. Thought I'd give it a go despite fading light. So returned maybe 10 mins later with the 85mm. Quite pleased with the result. So to give a feel for how dark it was, I couldn't manually focus, F1.8 and a 4 second shutter. And not even a hint of noise at ISO 200, these sensors are bonkers!! :-)

very nice capture. does the teleconverter work well with this lens?

DT so far I've shot EOS 70-300 (the short squat white one/red ring), the EOS 400/5.6, and the EOS 200/F2.8.
All work a charm. All light enough for me to wield. All other EOS kit long long gone.

You definitely need to buy my 200-600mm. :p jk

Seriously, I may be posting my 200-600mm for sale because I recently enabled our two cats to have 24/7 outdoor access via cat door. Well, one of our kitties is not a lethargic fatty, and it turns out that she’s a highly efficient stone-cold psychopathic killer, which has forced me to take down our bird feeder and, consequently, all my backyard bird photography aspirations.

Can’t have it all. Our kitties are much happier now, which makes us happy. And, also happier for us, the Litter Robot fills up much more slowly. ;)

Seeing all those pinball machines lined up like that reminds me of the Pachinko Parlors I saw in Japan in 1966.

Nice light at the end of the tunnel!

This was in Wiltshire last Friday. Very low cloud to light rain to stormy skies to big cloud but brighter skies to a lovely sunny evening! :)
