I’m getting more doubtful that Sony will make aps-c wildlife camera. I really think a1, in spite of its very high price, is the answer.
My favorite APS-C Sony camera of all time was the A7Riv in crop mode. All the ergos I love, fantastic AF, great buffer. Only thing missing --like all new A7 series-- a complete flippy
screen like on my a99ii.
The Alpha 1 with its mpx number can do APS-C just fine too.
I've always hated the rangefinder style Sony's for BIF/wildlife. So I can understand Bill's desire (mine too). The X-T4 was my answer and with the same pixel density as the A7Riv
it works a charm, and surprisingly has decent (not a9 level of coure) AF tracking. BUT no 200600...the greatest wildlife/bierding/BIF lens ever made (in good light).
